Chevrier, Y (2004). Mao and the Chinese Revolution. Massachusetts: Interlink Books. 8-38.
This source was borrowed from the school library, it is a great source with interesting information and plenty of maps in regards to The Long March. This source however was bias against Mao and contained lots of useless information. Unknown. (Unknown). Mao Zedong. Available: http://chineseculture.about.com/library/weekly/aa022899.htm. Last Accessed 2nd Apr 2013. This source is quite good for researching a short biography looking at Mao’s life. This source is unreliable as it does not reveal where the information is sourced from and who wrote the information. The author of this source is bias towards Mao making him out to be a good ruler who was fair to all people. A more in depth report would have been better in this site to make it better all round. This source explains how Mao was both a hero and a villain, although the source was bias against Mao, it still explain how he did benefit China is some way. There are several positives of this source it contained very useful information but was not overloaded and it also contained links to other resources and Mao’s biography. Although this site is quite good it does not have any information on Mao’s Great Leap Forward. Unknown. (Unknown). The Great Leap Forward. Available: http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/great_leap_forward.htm. Last accessed 8th Apr 2013. This site proved excellent for reading and using information for the task regarding The Great Leap Forward. Mao was not favoured in this information as the site looks at how the plan had ruined the Chinese economy. Unknown. (Unknown). Long March (Chinese History). Available: http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/347303/Long-March. Last accessed 8th Apr 2013. This source was good to use to find out about the Long March and how is helped Mao to gain control of the Communist Party. This source was bias against the Nationalist Party.
